Northern Branch Angling Competition
19 - 20 April 2007
11 teams took part in the first event that was arranged by Polokwane Fire and Emergency
Services.
We would like top congratulate the winners and thank all participants for their
participation - special thanks to SAESI for their sponsorship making this event
possible.
Our sincere thanks to the judge and coordinator Mr. Cristo de Winaar who overseen
all rules and regulations as well as the Limpopo Tourism and Parks Board for assisting
in making the venue at Doorndraai Dam possible at reduced rates.
And last but not least thanks to the Organizer from Polokwane Mr. G v Jaarsveld.

Twin Peaks Half Marathon Challenge
The SAESI half marathon will take place at 06.00 on 15th September 2007. The race
will start and finish at Roeland Street Fire Station, Cape Town. The course is a
challenging route, climbing from the Fire Station up to the top of Signal Hill then
across to the end of Tafelberg Road. Then descends back to the Fire Station.
An Entry Fee of R35 for SAESI Members and R50 for non-members will be paid into
ABSA bank, Heerengracht, Account No 11-8080-0600 Branch Code 506009. The closing
date of all entries is 31st August 2007 no late entries will be accepted after the
cut off date, but feel free to contact the organisers and we will make some arrangements.
