Welcome to the Southern African Emergency Services Institute

The Southern African Emergency Services Institute (SAESI) has been in existence for 52 years and runs with the objective of creating opportunities to enhance the Fire and Emergency Services in South Africa. An Executive Committee has been appointed to oversee the successful running of the Institute. The EXCO meets on a quarterly basis to discuss issues that arise within the industry and to find solutions that deal effectively with these.

SAESI is an International Association with branches covering the various South African provinces and two of the SADC regions, namely Lesotho and Namibia. Each branch is represented by a Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and Secretary to ensure optimum attention is given to individual members across the country. Dynamic and involved, with the core objective of making a difference, SAESI is an Association you, as an industry member, cannot afford not to be a part of.
