Remarking
The procedure for remarking of examination papers is as follows:
- Remarking of examination scripts will only be done for marks achieved between 40%
- 49% and 68% - 70%.
- Remarking will be done by an external SAQA accredited Moderator. The result after
moderation will be the final result , even if this result is lower than the original
mark scored.
- Payment of the applicable fee/s must be made directly to SAESI Head Office. The
application fee for a remark is R 200-00 per subject.
- The closing date for application of a remark is 20 June 2008. No applications after
this date will be accepted.
- All applications received will be processed after the closing date and said scripts
together with the question paper and memorandum will be forwarded to the external
SAQA accredited Moderator for remarking. Feedback will depend on the amount of applications
received but should not take more than two weeks.
